SARU is a R&B singer-songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. Her sound offers a sensual, rough, and unique approach to R&B, gathering influences from the genre’s 90s and early 00s eras. The lyrics and uptempo melodies, reflecting her thoughts and emotions, play smoothly on the warmth of the accompanying production. 



In 2023 she released her debut EP 'Moodring' which was critically acclaimed by music journalist and editors. The Swedish Music Critic Per Sinding-Larsen described the EP as ”classically well made” and it was highlighted by DSP editors in both the US and the UK. SARU is currently preparing for the release of her sophomore EP, which is set to drop later this year.
