Harami aka Aryan Batti is a Stockholm based queer DJ and producer, and at the same time co-founder of the music collective and event series İBNE. Constantly seeking inspiration and energy from the dancefloors, their Kurdish heritage and queer community - Harami’s DJ sets are a manifest of their roots and experiences.
Harami’s sets and productions are an adventure through that grey undefined area between darkness and light and a little bit of cheeky haram playfulness. Expect dirty hardhitting but at the same time drivey and groovey techno, heavily influenced by sounds from 90’s rave era, sprinkled with an occasional hint of trance and brainfood elements. ”As long as it’s moving my hips and tickling my brain”.
Since 2019 Harami has played their way around the dance floors of Stockholm - clubs, raves, bars, you name it. Their booty-shaker sets have so far also brought them to dance floors of cities such as Berlin, Copenhagen and Vienna. With their debut track ’Children of the Sun’ for Shivers Label and ’Souk Mayhem’ for Berlin based ASHR in December, Harami’s producer journey has started with a bang during the fall of 2023, currently working on an debut EP to be released later this year.
